Trinity takes loss despite strong efforts from Carver Dresselhaus and Luka Robles

Recap: Trinity Wolves vs. West Valley Eagles

The Trinity Wolves's 23-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. The game between Trinity and West Valley wasn't particularly close, with Trinity falling 66-48. Trinity has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Trinity had strong showings from Luka Robles, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds, and Carver Dresselhaus, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Jackson Poburko was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Heacock, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Heacock has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chase Kalnins, who scored 18 points.

Trinity has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for West Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Trinity won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Central Valley at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th. Central Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season. West Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Paradise at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th.
