Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. West Warwick Wizards

The Lincoln Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the West Warwick Wizards at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

On Friday, Lincoln got the win against Woonsocket by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, West Warwick faced Johnston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Wizards walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wizards.

The win didn't come easy: Johnston scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Lincoln's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for West Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over West Warwick in their previous matchup back in April, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
