It was a good run, but Ouachita unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 63-56 to the Acorn Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 51-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Ouachita's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Acorn, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ouachita will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Malvern at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Acorn, they will head out to face off against Cutter-Morning Star at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
