Soccer Recap: Preble Shawnee Takes a Loss

Preble Shawnee and Madeira squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Preble Shawnee had to settle for second. They lost 5-0 to the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS. While losing is never fun, Preble Shawnee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 349th, while Madeira are ranked 35th).

Preble Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Madeira, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4-1.

Preble Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madeira, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Greeneview on the 28th.
