Soccer Recap: Plainfield South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Leyden last Tuesday, Plainfield South came back down to earth. Plainfield South lost 5-0 to the Stagg Chargers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Plainfield South of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. Stagg has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Plainfield South wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Reavis on the 22nd. As for Stagg, they have also already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against De La Salle on the 22nd.
