Basketball Game Preview: Rancho San Juan Trailblazers vs. North Monterey County Condors

The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers will venture away from home to square off against the North Monterey County Condors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Rancho San Juan strolled past Monte Vista Christian with points to spare, taking the game 68-54. The Trailblazers pushed the score to 64-42 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Monterey County, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took down Marina 71-54 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Condors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win made it two in a row for Rancho San Juan and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for North Monterey County, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Rancho San Juan ended up a good deal behind North Monterey County in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 74-55. Can Rancho San Juan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
