Basketball Game Preview: Pendleton Buckaroos vs. Burns Hilanders

The Pendleton Buckaroos will take on the Burns Hilanders in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pendleton has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Burns will come in with six straight victories.

Pendleton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Bend on Friday, falling 76-56.

Meanwhile, Burns didn't have too much trouble with Weston-McEwen on Saturday as they won 42-24. The 42-point effort marked the Hilanders' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Burns pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Pendleton, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
