Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Takes a Loss

Oak Grove managed to keep up with Prospect until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Oak Grove Eagles came up short against the Prospect Panthers, falling 60-40. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Prospect, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Oak Grove will face off against Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Prospect, they will challenge Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
