Baseball Recap: Design Tech Drops Highest Score of Season Against Summit Tahoma

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Design Tech). They never let the Summit Tahoma Tigers get on the board and left with a 31-0 win on Thursday.

Eddy Yee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Design Tech is 2-1 when Yee allowsone or fewer hits, but 0-3 otherwise. Yee was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Isaac Gradek was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Carrasco, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Design Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .822. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Design Tech's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Summit Tahoma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Design Tech has already played their next game (against Pacific Bay Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Summit Tahoma, they will host North Valley Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
