Volleyball Recap: Lowell's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Lowell had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Unity Christian Crusaders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Arrows also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2018.

Harper Schaedig paced Lowell's offense, picking up seven kills. Schaedig were helped by Annalise Clark and Laney Bieneman, who contributed six assists each. Lily Eveland controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lowell's win bumped their record up to 20-6-1. As for Unity Christian, they now have a losing record of 7-8-4.

Lowell has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Jenison on the 4th. As for Unity Christian, they will square off against Holland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders are facing the Dutch at the right time seeing as the Dutch are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
