Baseball Recap: Prestonwood Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Prestonwood Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 6-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.

Max Bachmann and Lash Henderson did most of the damage at the plate: Bachmann went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI, while Henderson scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those three hits gave Bachmann a new career-high. Junior Kniffen was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Prestonwood Christian's record now sits at 14-5. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Prestonwood Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Legacy Christian Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
