With a playoff win on the line, Mohawk Area rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Ellwood City Wolverine 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Wolverine back in April, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.
Vinny Pezzuolo was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
