Wareham is a perfect 4-0 against Upper Cape Cod RVT since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will challenge the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Wareham has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monomoy hit Wareham with a five-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 12-3 to the Sharks. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Upper Cape Cod RVT came out on top against Nauset Regional on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Rams put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 10-3 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Amaya Irving spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kenley Thomas, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Ella Vanderstaay was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Wareham's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Wareham got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2024 against Upper Cape Cod RVT by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
