There's no place like home for Westmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Piedmont Hills Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Pirates back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

One reason for the win was Westmont's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.

Agatha Kogan paced Westmont's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kogan got some help from Helen Ho and her 36 assists.

Westmont's win bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Piedmont Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Westmont nor Piedmont Hills have any future games scheduled.
