Basketball Game Preview: Rockbridge County Wildcats vs. Rocktown Raptors

Rockbridge County is on a six-game streak of home losses, Rocktown a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Rockbridge County Wildcats will welcome the Rocktown Raptors at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Rockbridge County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Parry McCluer. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Fighting Blues are ranked 167th).

Meanwhile, Rocktown came up short against Wilson Memorial two weeks ago and fell 65-58.

Rockbridge County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Rocktown, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
