Lightridge strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Loudoun County Captains by a score of 6-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bolts also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Peyton Robinson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run.
