West Bridgewater strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Regan Bryant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off ten hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alanna Fidalgo, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Lacey Roche, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

West Bridgewater kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits every time they've taken the field this season.

West Bridgewater's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Cardinal Spellman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
