Baseball Recap: Sulphur Comes Up Short

Sulphur was the 11-1 winner over New Iberia when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Sulphur took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Iberia on Tuesday.

Sulphur's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for New Iberia, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-9 record.

Coming up, New Iberia will be playing at home against Comeaux at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sulphur will be paying especially close attention to New Iberia's game: after New Iberia faces off against Comeaux, they'll take on Sulphur again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
