Live Oak Classical won the last time they faced Central Texas Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Live Oak Classical Falcons blew past the Central Texas Christian Lions 47-17. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Lauren Smith had an outrageously good game as she went 5 of 11 on her way to 10 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell Ogden, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Live Oak Classical was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Texas Christian only posted four assists.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brynlee Richardson, who had four points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ellie Maurer, who put up four points and nine rebounds.

Live Oak Classical pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Central Texas Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Live Oak Classical didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-11 win against Keystone on the 14th. As for Central Texas Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holy Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
