Basketball Recap: East Beauregard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gueydan last Monday, East Beauregard came back down to earth. The East Beauregard Trojans were outmatched by the Rosepine Eagles and fell 96-62. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

East Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Rosepine, the victory (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Beauregard will square off against St. Edmund at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Beauregard is facing St. Edmund at the right time seeing as St. Edmund is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Rosepine, they will face off against Many at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Rosepine's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 24 matchups.
