Basketball Game Preview: Richton Rebels vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

The Richton Rebels will take on the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Richton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Thursday, Richton strolled past St. Andrew's Episcopal with points to spare, taking the game 41-23.

Baylee Autry and Rakhiya Moody were among the main playmakers for Richton as the former went 7-for-13 en route to 17 points and five rebounds and the latter posted eight points along with eight boards and five steals. Those 17 points gave Autry a new career-high.

Richton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Presbyterian Christian came up short against Hancock last Thursday and fell 29-21. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Presbyterian Christian fell to 4-1. As for Richton, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
