Soccer Recap: Monroe Campus Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bronx High School of Science, Monroe Campus was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Truman Mustangs get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Monroe Campus' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Monroe Campus' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Truman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monroe Campus will face off against rival Evander Childs at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th. Meanwhile, Truman is set to take on their familiar foe Bronx High School of Science at 4:00 p.m. on October 6.
