Softball Recap: Cliffside Park Takes a Loss

If Cliffside Park was riding high fresh off their 24-1 takedown of Tenafly last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 13-1 to the Dumont Huskies on Friday. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cliffside Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Dumont, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Cliffside Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-4 loss against Hasbrouck Heights on the 5th. As for Dumont, they will be playing at home against Paramus Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Paladins will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
