Football Recap: Notre Dame Piles Up the Points Against Mountain View

Notre Dame got themselves on the board against Mountain View on Wednesday, but Mountain View never followed suit. They blew past the Spartans, posting a 32-0 victory. Given the Regents' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Spartans are ranked 282nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Notre Dame has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points this season. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Notre Dame has already played their next match, a 32-7 victory against Gunn on the 11th. Hopefully Mountain View paid attention to the Regents' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Regents at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday.
