Volleyball Recap: McKinney North Victorious

McKinney North won the last time they faced Lake Travis and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cavaliers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Tinley Brubaker paced McKinney North's offense, picking up nine kills. Brubaker got some help from Malia McNeal and her 12 assists. Finally, Kaitlyn Jefferson kept McKinney North's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

McKinney North's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Lake Travis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinney North will welcome Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Travis, they will host Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
