Basketball Recap: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Takes a Loss

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (59), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Southwest Minnesota Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will take on Westbrook-Walnut Grove in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Minnesota Christian and Adrian/Ellsworth will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
