Volleyball Recap: KIPP King Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

KIPP King waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

KIPP King never let AIMS College Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

KIPP King pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for AIMS College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, KIPP King and AIMS College Prep will both be playing Griffin Academy the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
