Baseball Game Preview: Williamsburg Academy Stallions vs. Dillon Christian Warriors

For the second straight game, Williamsburg Academy will face off against Dillon Christian. The Stallions will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Williamsburg Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Dillon Christian likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Williamsburg Academy earned an 11-6 win over Dillon Christian. The victory continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

For Dillon Christian's part, Gray Easterling made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Easterling has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jordan Blackmon, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Williamsburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dillon Christian, they moved to 5-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
