Baseball Recap: Vidalia Comes Up Short

Vidalia was the 10-4 winner over Caldwell Parish when they last played one another back in April of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings lost 12-6 to the Spartans on Tuesday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Vidalia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Caldwell Parish, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vidalia will host Ferriday at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Caldwell Parish, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delta Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
