Soccer Recap: Philo Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Philo has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Athens Bulldogs on Monday. Philo were not able to make up for their loss to Athens from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Athens, the win got them back to even at 5-5-5.

Looking ahead, Philo will head out on the road to square off against John Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Gallia Academy at 7:45 p.m.
