Basketball Recap: Buhach Colony Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Buhach Colony extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 7-4. They walked away with a 51-40 victory over the Livingston Wolves. While the Thunder didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buhach Colony to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Chapman, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 18 boards. Chapman has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Hector Alcantar was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Buhach Colony was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 6-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Livingston still got an impressive performance from Adrian Aguirre, who went 8-for-19 en route to 21 points. That was a full 52.5% of the Wolves' points, marking the eighth time in a row Aguirre has posted more than a third of the team's points. Jovin Singh also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Buhach Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-55 win against Los Banos on the 20th. As for Livingston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 66-42 victory against Ceres on the 20th.
