Volleyball Game Preview: Laughlin Cougars vs. Liberty Baptist Academy Knights

Laughlin hasn't had much luck against Liberty Baptist Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will challenge the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Laughlin came up short against Adelson on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Laughlin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Liberty Baptist Academy suffered their biggest defeat since September 12th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Pahranagat Valley. Considering the last time the Knights couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.

Laughlin's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13.

Laughlin suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Liberty Baptist Academy when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
