Lanier Benefited from Hightower in 33-20 Defeat
Lanier had to settle for second on Friday, but Dmajai Hightower sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Hightower was still balling out as he picked up 133 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 78 yards.
Hightower and Lanier will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Dacula at 7:30 p.m. on September 13th. The matchup will pit Hightower up against the Falcons' star wideout Isaac Kareem-Maman. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat.
