Recap: Admiral Farragut BlueJackets vs. Hollins Royals
There's no place like home for the Admiral Farragut BlueJackets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hollins on Tuesday and snuck past 32-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Admiral Farragut has posted yet this season.
Hollins lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Summer Morgan, who scored 14 points along with five steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Rebecka Williams, who scored seven points.
Admiral Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Hollins, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road.
Admiral Farragut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hollins will head out on the road to square off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
