Softball Recap: Newbury Park Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Newbury Park's offense. They came up short against the Agoura Chargers on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Newbury Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Agoura, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Newbury Park and Agoura should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Panthers will face off against Santa Paula at 3:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (202 vs. 713). Meanwhile, Agoura (ranked 73rd) will meet Calabasas (ranked 922nd) at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th.
