Basketball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Poly Bears, falling 73-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-46 on January 14th.

Valley View lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kenneth Hutchinson, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Davion Moore, who put up six points.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Poly, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Valley View will welcome Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Valley View is facing Arlington at the right time seeing as Arlington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Poly has already played their next match (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
