Tristan Thompson Headed to Findlay Prep

Tristan Thompson is transferring to Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) this week and is expected to be in uniform for Friday's trip to Southern Methodist University to play Duncanville, Texas. The 6-foot-9 Thompson, who is one of the nation's top five juniors, was dropped from St. Benedict's (Newark, N.J.) for insubordination, according to coach Dan Hurley.

Thompson is a good friend of Findlay junior guard Cory Joseph. New teammate Avery Bradley has signed with Texas, where Thompson expects to go after his senior year. Findlay Prep is unbeaten and ranked No. 5 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 national team rankings.
