Volleyball Recap: Rolla Bulldogs vs. Sullivan Eagles
There's no place like home for Rolla, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Sullivan Eagles out 3-2 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
Rolla took Sullivan into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. After all that action, the final score was 25-17, 20-25, 17-25, 25-20, 15-10.
Rolla's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Sullivan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolla will head out to square off against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sullivan, they will take on St. Clair at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but likely not for long.
