Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount St. Mary). They breezed by the Ada Cougars to the tune of 83-56 on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Ada saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Charles Vest went 6 of 7 on his way to 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Vest. Caron Richardson was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 17 points.

Mount St. Mary is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Ada, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.
