Volleyball Recap: Chugiak Comes Up Short

Chugiak saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Kamiakin Braves by a score of 1-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kendall Zink paced Chugiak's offense, picking up three kills. Zink got some help from Avery Wilson and her seven assists.

Chugiak's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Kamiakin, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Chugiak has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against West Anchorage on the 30th. As for Kamiakin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Walla Walla on the 30th.
