Softball Recap: Oconto Falls Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Oconto Falls came into Monday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Coleman Cougars with a sharp 14-4 win on Monday. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 14-4).

The team relied heavily on Izzy Otto, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Josie Holtz also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Oconto Falls' victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Coleman, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Looking ahead, Oconto Falls will square off against Waupaca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coleman has already played their next game (against Oneida Nation), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
