Basketball Game Preview: Greene Central Rams vs. Eastern Wayne Warriors

Greene Central hasn't had much luck against Eastern Wayne recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at 3:30 p.m. Greene Central will be strutting in after a victory while Eastern Wayne will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Greene Central strolled past Washington with points to spare, taking the game 50-33. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Pam Pack recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Eastern Wayne came up short against Ayden - Grifton on Tuesday, falling 49-29.

Eastern Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Greene Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Greene Central couldn't quite get it done against Eastern Wayne in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 42-31. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
