Recap: Sardis Lions vs. Gadsden City Titans
The Sardis Lions were the 48-40 winner over the Gadsden City Titans when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Sardis was dealt a 49-15 defeat at the hands of Gadsden City on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sardis has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was A'miyah Graves, who scored five points along with three steals.
Sardis' loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Gadsden City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sardis will take on Asbury at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gadsden City, they will be playing at home against Guntersville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
