Basketball Game Preview: West Bladen Knights vs. Clinton Dark Horses

West Bladen is 2-8 against Clinton since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The West Bladen Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Clinton Dark Horses at 6:00 p.m. Clinton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Bladen, who comes in off a win.

West Bladen was handed a 47-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged Red Springs out 40-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted against the Red Devils since January 27, 2022.

Meanwhile, Clinton played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Fairmont 62-25. The game marked the Dark Horses' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West Bladen will have to keep a close watch on Janiya Mosley and Ciara Stuart, a pair of players who had a big impact on Clinton's prior game. Mosley posted five points and three steals, while Stuart put up five points and six steals. Stuart has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

West Bladen's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.
