Rockford Auburn hadn't done well against Jefferson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Knights came out on top against the J-Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the J-Hawks, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Rockford Auburn easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10.

Garrett Love paced Rockford Auburn's offense, picking up six kills. Love got some help from Conner Hawkins and his nine assists. Jordan Jimenez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win made it two in a row for Rockford Auburn and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
