After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ennis, West Mesquite was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Ferris Yellowjackets 48-26. The Wranglers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

West Mesquite's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ferris, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
