Plum won against Burrell on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Mustangs didn't even let the Deer Lakes Lancers on the board, marking the Mustangs' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Mackenzie Marotta made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Marotta was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
