It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Hammond ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Providence Panthers. The win was nothing new for Hammond as they're now sitting on five straight.

Hammond now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Providence, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammond will take on Cardinal Newman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence, they will be playing at home against Greer Middle College at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence will need to watch out since Greer Middle College have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
