Basketball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Comes Up Short

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Marion County Warriors, falling 61-16. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marion County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tori Rymer, who on her way to 14 points. Rymer continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Chrysia Timmis was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Marion County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-33 defeat against Tyner Academy on the 22nd.
