Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lima Central Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Elida 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thunderbirds have posted since April 21st.

Lima Central Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for St. Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

St. Henry was able to grind out a solid win over Lima Central Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
